Dear Friend,
I am delighted to be teaching this FALL with the EILEEN FISHER LifeWork initiative.
On September 16–17, 2017, I will be leading GRACE UNDER PRESSURE: Leadership Embodiment Level 1 in Irvington, New York, just 20 miles north of Manhattan, in a beautiful loftlike space overlooking the Hudson River.
GRACE UNDER PRESSURE: Leadership Embodiment Level 1
Wendy Palmer September 16 – 17, 2017
9:30am – 5:00pm ET
We all have our habitual responses to stressful situations — and they often lead us in the opposite direction from where we want to go. We don’t intend to get so easily thrown off course, but it happens. We shut down or fly off the handle or get confused or whatever it is that we do when we get overwhelmed — at work, at home, wherever we are in the world.
These repetitive patterns are stored in our bodies, and unconsciously impact our ability to make good decisions under pressure, yet drive our reactions and choices. That is until we intentionally practice ways to create new possibilities.
Please join me in this charming village, which offers a range of restaurant choices and inviting outdoor spaces. Irvington is also home to the EILEEN FISHER company and two stores for EILEEN FISHER clothing at a much lower cost than retail — while supporting initiatives that empower girls and women:
• Fisher Found, for gently worn EILEEN FISHER clothes that have been professionally cleaned and are ready for their next life. Take them home and make them your own.
• The Lab Store, this one-of-a-kind boutique offers an intriguing melange, many not available elsewhere, including samples, best picks from the current and previous year’s line, and gently loved recycled pieces.
Irvington is a great place to come for a day — immerse in a workshop, have a nice meal, and even fit in a little shopping! Or splurge and make it a personal weekend getaway.
The body never lies.
