Develop greater capacity to relate to whatever arises, especially when under pressure, from a centered state that accesses “presence, confidence and compassion”. Through simple interactive exercises drawn from Aikido and Mindfulness meditation practices, Conscientious Embodiment offers a laboratory in which we can:
- Observe with compassion our habitual, reactive patterns that arise especially when under pressure.
- Learn a simple practice for accessing a centered state.
- Investigate and cultivate our capacity to access the centered state.
Week 1: Cultivating compassion and kindness toward our habitual patterns.
Week 2: Centering practice for accessing presence, confidence, and compassion.
Week 3: Exploring our patterns of advocating and listening.
Week 4: Exploring our patterns of leading and following.
Week 5: Exploring Tolerating impact, Respectful opposition, and Inquiry.
Week 6: Taking Conscientious Embodiment to the meditation cushion.
